The project was the expansion of the Bellmore Library. In order to do this and not disrupt the services to the community, a temporary library had to be set up first. Galli Engineering was retained as the Civil Engineer for this project. Setting up the temporary Library involved improving a parking lot where the temporary Library would be located. Galli's responsibilities were the design of the parking lot, including grading, drainage, and lighting. Once the temporary was set up the grading and drawings for the main library expansion could begin. Galli Engineering designed the grading and drainages for the sidewalks and adjoining lawn areas that were impacted by the construction.
